Electrical Improver

Electrical Improvers required for ongoing contract work at Neasden Depot. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy project within a rail environment, supporting experienced electricians on a variety of installation and maintenance tasks. All applicants must hold a valid Sentinel card and have previous experience in a similar role, ideally within rail, infrastructure, or industrial settings.

Working Hours:
07:30 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday
07:30 – 13:00 Friday

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems

* Installation of containment systems including tray, trunking, and conduit

* Cable pulling, routing, and termination support

* Supporting fault finding and basic testing procedures

* Ensuring all work is completed in line with current regulations and site specifications

* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety standards

* Following site procedures, permits, and safety briefings at all times

Requirements:

* Valid Sentinel card (essential)

* Previous experience as an Electrical Improver

* Basic electrical knowledge and ability to work from drawings (preferred)

* Strong awareness of health & safety practices

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
