Interpersonnel is pleased to be working with our client once more to assist in the recruitment of an experienced Electrical Fitter for their fast-paced site based in the Swale area.

The Electrical Fitter will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely maintenance of plant and mobile equipment, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime. You will be experienced with both planned maintenance and prioritising emergency shutdowns where machinery requires immediate attention.

You will have experience working to health and safety guidelines, ensuring the safety of yourself and your team members. This is a fantastic job opportunity for an electrical fitter/engineer to join an organisation as it goes from strength to strength.

About The Role:

• To effectively manage operational activities with respect to maintenance of equipment and machinery on site.
• To ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe, professional and timely manner, and in accordance with business policies, procedures and legislation.
• To effectively plan ahead so that all maintenance operations are undertaken in accordance with both future and immediate needs.
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance to minimise the downtime of the site and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, control, PLC controlled systems and issues, minimising downtime.
• Lead failure analysis, implement corrective and preventative actions for recurring faults.
• Create, review and document all maintenance processes and procedures.

Knowledge & Skills:

Essential

• An Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Experience with three-phase high voltage
• Good depth of experience with fixed and mobile plant equipment.
• Knowledge of requirements of Health and Safety legislation for operations of this type.
• Ability to work under pressure, alone or as part of a team, safely and prioritise your workload
• Good organisational skills, able to organise own and others time
• Able to manage significant quantities of important paperwork.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good engineering knowledge and application.
• Strong Interpersonal skills.
