The Job You’ll Do;

* Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects, including materials, labour, and other associated costs.

* Review project specifications and drawings to provide accurate and competitive bids.

* Work closely with sales and engineering, ensuring the smooth handover of won projects.

* Evaluate project requirements, scope of work, and technical details to ensure that all estimates are comprehensive and aligned with customer expectations.

* Monitor project budgets during the tender phase and ensure that all estimates are kept within defined limits.

* Maintain accurate records of all estimates, tenders, and communications.

* Provide detailed reports to senior management and stakeholders on project performance and costing accuracy.

* Keep up to date with market trends, competitor pricing, and new technologies to ensure estimates remain competitive and current.

* Identify and evaluate risks associated with pricing and project delivery, proposing solutions to mitigate these risks.

About You;

* NVQ Level 3 or above in an electrical discipline (desirable) or equivalent industry experience

* Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

* Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate estimates.

* Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Strong negotiation and communication skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
