The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full tendering process for commercial electrical projects, including online tender submissions, pricing, client liaison, and supporting project delivery.

You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and our internal project management team to ensure all tenders are accurate, competitive, and completed to a high standard. This role is primarily office-based but will require occasional site visits.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial electrical projects * Manage and submit tenders via online platforms and direct client channels * Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documentation * Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain material and labour quotations * Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with technical requirements * Conduct site visits as required to inform bids and tenders * Maintain detailed records and documentation for all tenders * Provide technical input and support during the handover of successful bids

Requirements

* Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the commercial sector * In-depth knowledge of BS7671:2018 wiring regulations * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent * 18th Edition qualification * ECS Gold Card * Clean UK driving licence * Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and communication skills * Professional and tidy presentation

Desirable (Advantageous) Skills

* Experience with mechanical estimating or understanding of M&E projects * Familiarity with CAD or electrical design software * Experience estimating PV (solar) or EV charging systems

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
