New Role - Electrical Estimator/ Senior Electrical Estimator required - Up to £90,000 + Benefits!\n\nI’m currently working with a M&E Contractor in London who are looking to recruit an additional Electrical Estimator or Senior Electrical Estimator into their London team. Looking for someone with experience working within the industry on similar scale projects valued up to £100m M&E across a wise variety of sectors, ideally data centre (DC) experience in UK and/or Europe – Shell & Core projects up to 20mil – DC 50m to 100m projects.\n\nThe business have a great culture and environment which has helped with retention of staff over the years with their average duration sitting above the industry average.\n\nBoasting a highly competitive package and salary for the right experience, this would be a great time to make contact as this business rarely recruits additional staff within this team. They have also embraced some hybrid working at times (Still needing people to live a commutable distance from the office (Central London))\n\nPlease see the below as a snapshot of the responsibilities and experience required.\n\nMain responsibilities\n\n Ensure all Tender/cost plan enquiries are managed in accordance with Company\n\nprocedures\n\n Review and analyse Tender documentation, assessing project and design to ensure\n\ncompliance with Client requirements\n\n Analyse the terms and conditions of the contract and issue for legal review\n\n Liaise with the Technical Design and Operations Departments to ensure compliancy\n\nof Tender conceptual designs, raising any queries with the Client\n\n Demonstrate an understanding of the project scope of works when briefing others\n\nduring the Tender strategy meeting\n\n Review specifications, engage with the supply chain partners and produce a\n\nQuotation Control Sheet for enquiry send-out\n\n Manage and complete the Tender take-off process, inputting into estimating\n\nsoftware\n\n Manage and check any measure/counts completed by other members of the team\n\n Conduct detailed analysis of all quotations competently\n\n Prepare and provide all relevant estimate documentation for Tender adjudication\n\n Advise of any potential value engineering opportunities\n\n Attend site surveys, undertake detailed site investigations, and where required\n\nissue reports\n\n Attend Client meetings throughout the Tender/Post Tender period\n\n Produce scope of works methodology to support the Tender submission document\n\n Prepare draft Tender letter with project specific notes and clarifications\n\n Take ownership of the Contract Sum Analysis\n\n Ensure the forwarding of Tender documentation and financial information to the\n\nOperations team prior to attendance at the Tender Handover Meeting\n\n Demonstrate the scope of works to the Operations Department, ensuring it has\n\ncommercial and technical awareness of the project\n\n Mentor and support other members of the team as required, imparting knowledge\n\nand skills\n\n Any other duties relating to the business as instructed by the Company Directors\n\nExperience Required:\n\n Experience of working within the building services industry across a number of\n\nsectors\n\n Senior Estimator position held for 5+ years\n\n Knowledge and understanding of electrical services\n\n Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, and Outlook\n\n Competency with estimating software (Trimble ContractMaster)\n\n Reliable and professional attitude towards work\n\n Flexible and methodical approach to work\n\nInterviews will be taking place over the coming weeks with the view of appointing someone over the coming month to aid current work load.\n\nFor more information, get in contact by either applying or messaging me directly
