Job Description

Electrical Estimator - M&E\n\nWe're seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing design, build and maintenance contractor based in Manchester.\n\nYou'll be responsible for producing accurate and competitive electrical tenders across a range of commercial and industrial projects. Working closely with both pre-construction and project delivery teams, you'll help ensure bids are technically robust, commercially viable, and aligned with client expectations.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nPrepare detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions\n\nReview drawings, specifications, and client requirements\n\nUtilise Trimble for take-offs and cost calculations\n\nLiaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients for quotations and clarifications\n\nSupport value engineering and provide technical input during tender reviews\n\nPackage\n\n £50,000 base salary \n\n£6,000 car allowance\n\nBonus scheme based on performance\n\n33 days' holiday (including bank holidays)\n\nStrong pipeline of commercial and industrial projects\n\nOffice-based role in Manchester\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience as an Electrical Estimator within an M&E or building services contractor\n\nProficient with Trimble estimating software\n\nSolid understanding of electrical installation systems and materials\n\nStrong commercial awareness and negotiation skills\n\nBased within a reasonable commute of Manchester\n\nIf you're an Electrical Estimator looking to join a forward-thinking contractor with real growth potential, we'd like to hear from you.\n\nApply now for a confidential conversation.\n\nWR HVAC | M&E are #1 recruitment partner for HVAC jobs.
