A long-established and reputable supplier of industrial food-processing machinery is seeking a skilled Process Electrical Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. Known for delivering high-quality equipment worldwide and working alongside major global industry partners, this organisation prides itself on technical excellence, reliability and ongoing innovation within the food equipment sector.

Role Overview

This is a dynamic, hands-on position where variety comes as standard. The successful candidate will:

Design and develop electrical systems, components and control panels

Commission, test and fault-find inverters, PLCs and other control systems

*

Work both in a workshop environment and at customer sites when required

*

Conduct root cause analysis and resolve electrical issues efficiently

*

Utilise programmable logic controllers to support automation improvements

*

Collaborate with mechanical and project engineers to enhance system performance

*

Create technical documents, reports and user manuals

*

Stay informed about new electrical technologies and industry advancements

Candidate Requirements

To excel in this role, applicants should bring:

✔ Relevant qualifications (18th Edition )

✔ Strong background in electrical design and system development

✔ Confident understanding of inverters, PLCs and automation control

✔ Ability to work on-site and in-house depending on project demands

✔ Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting capabilities

✔ Clear written and verbal communication skills

⭐ Experience in dairy/food machinery or automation is desirable
