About the Role

We’re looking for a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team and support the maintenance and testing of electrical systems across our operations. You’ll play a key role in delivering safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions that meet both technical and business requirements.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, thrives in a collaborative environment, and has a strong understanding of modern electrical engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain electrical systems, components, and products across the site. Carry out EICRs and Fixed Wire Testing Undertake minor remedial work when required. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimise downtime. Ensure all electrical work meets industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with other internal teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions. Support project planning, cost estimation, and technical reviews. Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering function.

Skills & Experience Required

The client requires a full DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance for the role. You MUST hold a valid UK passport and be able to demonstrate a clear and consecutive UK footprint covering at least 10 years. In addition to this, you must hold the below:

Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Installations or equivalent 18th Edition City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing Proved experience carrying out EICRs and fixed wire testing Strong understanding of electrical safety, regulatory requirements, and testing procedures. Proven experience in an electrical engineering role (industry‑specific experience desirable). Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Desirable

Background in commercial or industrial environments. IPAF, PASMA, ECS or CSCS Card Knowledge of CAFM or digital reporting tools
