Electrical Engineer – Day Shift

Location: Dungannon, Co. Tyrone

Salary: Around £48,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role

We’re looking for two experienced Electrical Engineers to join a busy, modern food manufacturing facility. You’ll work on day shift, maintaining and improving production machinery and site services, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across machinery and site services Diagnose and repair faults on LV/HV systems, control panels, and automated equipment Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise disruption to production Perform PAT testing, routine inspections, and electrical safety checks in line with legislation and company policy Follow lock-out / tag-out procedures and maintain high safety standards Support continuous improvement and equipment upgrades Complete maintenance records, logs, and handovers accurately Work closely with production, engineering, and management teams to keep operations running efficiently

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

Recognised electrical qualification (or time-served apprenticeship) Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills on machinery and control systems Safety-focused, with strong attention to detail Able to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

Experience in FMCG or food production Knowledge of automated production systems
