Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: City of London

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Overtime Available)

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join a well-established team in the City of London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a professional commercial environment, offering long-term stability, career progression, and excellent benefits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across a modern building, ensuring all electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance

* Electrical fault finding and repairs

* Maintenance and servicing of AHUs (Air Handling Units) and FCUs (Fan Coil Units)

* Testing and maintenance of emergency lighting systems

* Fire alarm testing and basic maintenance

* Sprinkler system checks and testing

* Maintenance of lighting systems including Simtronic lighting

* Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations

* Accurately complete job reports and documentation

Requirements:

* NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or equivalent

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)

* Experience working in a commercial building services environment

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

* Knowledge of building systems such as AHU/FCU

* Good communication skills and a proactive approach
