Electrical Engineer
Location: Selly Oak, Birmingham
Salary: 37k
Employment Type: Temp to perm

About the Role:
We're looking for a reliable and experienced Electrical Engineer to join a facilities team responsible for keeping a busy site running smoothly. The role is a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive electrical repairs, covering a range of building services and general electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine PPMs on electrical systems and building services Respond quickly to reactive maintenance tasks and electrical faults Diagnose and repair issues on lighting, power, distribution boards, motors, and controls Support with minor installation, upgrades and small works when required Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards Keep clear and accurate documentation of maintenance and repairs Work with site teams, contractors and other engineers to maintain safe operation of the building
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or Maintenance 17/18th Edition Experience in facilities maintenance, commercial, or building services environments Good fault-finding skills across general electrical systems Strong communication and the ability to manage your own workload A proactive approach to safety and maintenance
