This role will involve creating a range of electrical designs in the commercial sector with a leading organization within its field.
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Develop and design electrical schematics and layouts to meet regulatory standards and project requirements.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure design specifications align with their expectations.
Utilise CAD software to create detailed designs and prototypes for various electrical systems.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential design issues.
Review and revise designs based on feedback from engineers, stakeholders, and clients.
Maintain documentation of design processes, changes, and specifications for future reference.
Stay up to date with new technologies and methodologies in electrical engineering design.
Provide technical support and guidance to other engineering teams and departments as necessary.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to project progress discussions and updates.
