Due to continued growth, we are looking for Electrical Design Engineers at all levels to join our team.You will act as the Electrical Designer on projects up to 132kV, delivering designs from concept through to commissioning and handover. Working closely with project, construction and design managers, you'll help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to budget and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical design of HV/LV systems including substations (132kV, 33kV, 11/6.6kV)Lead and manage design activities across the full project lifecycleProduce design documentation, technical specifications and protection settingsSupport project delivery in line with programme, cost and quality targetsLiaise with internal teams, contractors and stakeholdersContribute to design standards, innovation and continuous improvementAbout YouHNC or higher in Electrical Engineering (degree and chartership desirable)Strong knowledge of HV distribution systems, substations and protectionExperience within the electricity transmission or distribution sectorWorking knowledge of CDM regulationsProficient in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel essential)Experience with power system studies/protection calculations desirableStrong communication skills and a proactive, adaptable approachJBRP1_UKTJ
