What Youll Do
As an Electrical Design Engineer , youll:
Design HV Substations and Electrical Infrastructure up to 132kV
Prepare design packages including cable schedules, schematics, ADMD calculations, and battery charger sizing
Develop Single Line Diagrams and detailed protection and control design specifications
Design HV cable systems using manufacturer data and analysis software
Undertake preliminary design studies looking at load flow and fault levels
Carry out earthing designs using excel and CDEGs

What Were Looking For - Engineering
Degree qualified or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
3+ years in HV/Electrical Design Positions
Strong technical knowledge of power engineering
Ability to effectively communicate technical information
A postgraduate qualification in Power Systems is adavantageous
Full UK driving licence & Right to Work in the UK
Chartered or working toward IEng/CEng (IET)
