BedfordSalary - Negotiable DOE Monday - Friday 37 hours per week.Your new company:Based in Bedford, you will be joining a well-known and growing manufacturing business specialising in large-scale automated machinery manufacturing.Due to increased business and continuous growth, they are now recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their design and automation team.The Electrical design engineer will be involved in the design and development of a range of large- and small-scale machinery. With a range of customers, and a large order book, this is an excellent time for an Electrical Design engineer to join an ever-expanding business.Key Responsibilities & Duties:Carrying out electrical, pneumatic designCarrying out the validation of all designs to the current safety standards and requirementsCarrying out design studies and reviews and preparation of specifications for special applications.Completion of the FAT document and 'as-built' electrical documentation.Support installation, troubling shooting visits at customer sites world-wide, working closely with Service and Aftercare teamsThis is just a summary of duties, and other responsibilities will be required.Skills & Experience required:Experience designing electrical control systems for special purpose machinery.Experience designing safety control systems and validation using appropriate softwareGood understanding of AutoCAD Electrical or EPLANExperience in compiling BOM's.Knowledge of safety equipment and standardsWhat you need to do now if you're interested in this role:Click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV or call us now.
