We are looking for a Electrical Design Engineer for a engineering consultancy delivering high-quality, innovative solutions across multiple sectors. They pride themselves on technical excellence, collaborative working, and providing tailored services to their clients. They are now looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join the team
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems for a range of projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to produce efficient, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.
* Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
* Produce detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g. BS, IEC)
* Coordinate meetings to establish project requirements
* Develop and deliver progress reports
* Ensure all designs are in accordance with the appropriate Standards (Building regulations, planning) and other statutory requirements
* Coordinate effectively with clients and contractors involved in the project
* Provide detailed lighting calculations for commercial and residential projects
* Lead project technical handovers
* Delivery of the project in compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental plan
* Manage Commercial, Retail and Residential projects from RIBA Stage 1 to Completion
* Lead project meetings and Technical Handover
* Conduct site visits, inspections, and surveys as required
