The Role A hands on electrical design role producing building services designs for a wide range of projects dealing with clients in the Medical, Commercial and Educational industries. Your Responsibilities: * Electrical building services design for power, lighting, emergency lighting and fire alarms. * Electrical calculations: cable sizing, volt drop, short circuit, lighting calculations. * Producing drawings, specification and cost estimates. * Coordinating closely with the mechanical design team on layout * Liaising directly with clients and subcontractors. * Attending sites, design meetings and client meetings. * Ensuring compliance with BS codes and relevant building services standards * Supporting projects from concept through to handover The Ca...
