Their impressive projects range from £10k to £300k and include recent successes like new car showrooms, university accommodation refurbishments, and energy-saving LED lighting upgrades. As the Contracts Manager, your responsibilities will include: Attending regular project progress and design review meetings as necessary, contributing to project planning activities and progress tracking. Generating a Bill of quantities from drawings to facilitate estimating and purchasing processes. Conducting site surveys to support costing or design efforts. Collaboration on projects to identify opportunities for sales, cost reduction and value engineering where appropriate. Working alongside the director to identify and pursue new opportunities and potential clients Managing material orders, supervising a small team of electricians, completing timesheets, conducting HSE audits, performing accident investigations, and proposing corrective actions as needed. Fostering cohesive communication and teamwork. Engagement with the clients team members throughout project execution and attend meetings. Ensuring the accurate installation of electrical systems in accordance with specifications. Generating estimates and quotes for potential projects The ability to run projects from £5K to £500k from tender to final account Identifying and accurately documenting project variations. Adhering to Quality Assurance systems and processes to uphold quality standards. Ensuring compliance with project-specific quality and legislative requirements. Fulfilling additional duties as required within the scope of the job and in alignment with company needs. Required Skills & Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Electrical Contracts Manager role. 18th Edition A proven track record of delivering successful Electrical projects in the range of £5k to £500k. Experience working on projects in various sectors, including schools, education, care homes, retail, commercial, and offices. A current ECS Card and a clean driving licence. Strong contract management, estimating and design skills.
