Role: Electrical Commissioning and Maintenance Engineer

Location: Swansea/Cardiff - with UK wide travel Salary: £40,000 with OTE £55,000 + My client is looking for an Electrical Commissioning and Maintenance Engineer. You Will be working alongside a Mechanical Engineer as part of a two-person team delivering installation, commissioning, and servicing of pumping equipment across the UK. The role will primarily cover Wales and the Southwest of England; however, candidates must be flexible and willing to travel nationwide, including overnight stays when required. All travel and accommodation expenses are fully covered. Responsibilities include: Carry out installation, commissioning, and servicing of pumping systems Provide electrical support to a Mechanical Engineer on-site Attend sites across the UK, primarily Wales & Southwest Complete site reports and documentation accurately Support breakdown and aftersales service activities when required Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with procedures Maintain tools, materials, and equipment readiness Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams Skills & Experience: Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (17th or 18th Edition / BS 7671) Experience in a similar electrical or maintenance role Full UK driving licence Willingness to travel and stay away from home Desirable: Inspection & Testing (Level 3) Experience working with pumps or motors Confined Space training WR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
