Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Shift Pattern: Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:30 | Friday: 08:00–14:00

Dalkia is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical Chargehand to join our on-site team at Sizewell B Power Station. This is an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK’s most high-profile and safety-critical industrial environments, where precision, professionalism, and compliance are essential.

Key Responsibilities

As Electrical Chargehand, you will take responsibility for supervising and supporting a team of electrical operatives while remaining actively involved in hands-on work. Your duties will include:

Managing a team of approximately 17 electrical staff, setting work tasks and overseeing a wide range of electrical activities Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring safe systems of work Delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across electrical systems Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and site-specific procedures Managing and coordinating subcontractors Organising labour, materials, tools, and equipment orders Maintaining a 50/50 balance between supervision and hands-on electrical work

What You’ll Bring

18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection (or equivalent) Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and best practice Experience working within both industrial and domestic electrical environments
