Job Description
Electrical Quantity Surveyor\n £45,000-£75,000 (Depending on Experience) | Canary Wharf / London & Essex Projects\n A busy and growing M&E subcontractor is seeking an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of electrical packages across a range of commercial office fit out, infrastructure and refurbishment projects.\n This role offers exposure to high-value, fast-paced projects and would suit someone who is confident managing costs, valuations and commercial reporting within an electrical contracting environment.\n Key Requirements\n \nMinimum 2+ years' experience as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor \nBackground in commercial fit out, infrastructure or refurbishment projects \nPreferably qualified to ONC / HNC / BSc or similar in Quantity Surveying \nStrong commercial and contractual awareness \nAble to work independently and as part of a project team Location, Hours & Package\n \nSalary: £45,000-£75,000 (experience dependent) \nHours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm \nLocation: Primarily Canary Wharf / site-based, with projects across London & Essex \nHoliday: 25 days + Bank Holidays \nPension: 5% employer contribution \nPaid travel & fuel card Key Responsibilities\n \nFinancial management of electrical contracts \nPreparing and managing monthly cost reports \nBudget analysis and identifying commercial risks or variations \nPreparing valuations and submitting applications for payment \nProducing monthly project valuations and cost reports \nPreparing variation quotations and supporting documentation \nAttending client and site meetings as required Additional Benefits (after 6-month probation)\n \nPrivate Bupa Healthcare \nGym membership contribution This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Electrical QS to join a forward-thinking contractor, working on significant London projects with strong long-term career prospects
