The On-Site Internationalare looking for aMV Authorised Personfor a project inFrankfurt, GermanystartingASAP.

Applicants must have a passport that allows them to work in Europe- UK passports no longer act as a valid work permit in the EU - UK passport holding applicants must have a right to work VISA for relevant country of work.

Rate:

• €65/hour

Duties:

• Act as the Authorised Person for Medium Voltage (MV) systems, ensuring all operations comply with site safety rules and procedures
• Control and issue permits to work, switching schedules, and safety documentation (LOTO, isolations, etc.)
• Carry out and oversee MV switching operations (energisation, isolation, earthing)
• Ensure safe isolation of MV systems for maintenance, testing, and installation works
• Review and approve method statements (RAMS) related to MV activities
• Coordinate with commissioning teams for energisation of MV equipment and systems
• Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with site safety standards and German regulations (e.g. VDE standards)
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure hazards are identified and mitigated
• Act as the point of contact for MV-related incidents and emergency response
• Ensure all MV equipment is tested, inspected, and certified prior to energisation
• Support commissioning and handover processes to the client/operator
• Monitor and enforce lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures xbpsjku
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders on MV system status and planning
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies at all times

Hours:

• Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm
• Saturday 7am - 1pm

Duration:

• 6 months ongoing for the right candidates
