Make a real difference Were looking for a Education Assessor to join our friendly and supportive team at Peterborough College on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with adult learners, feels confident in a digital learning environment, and wants to make an immediate, positive impact. The Education Assessor will play a key role in supporting learners on distance learning programmes, providing both academic and pastoral support, helping learners stay motivated and progress confidently through their courses. What youll be doing As a Education Assessor, youll manage a caseload of learners and provide consistent, high-quality support throughout their learning journey. Your responsibilities will include: Assessing (and where qualified, moderating) distance learning courses within your curriculum specialism
Supporting learners through telephone, email, video calls and online workshops
Monitoring learner progress, submissions and engagement to ensure timely completion
Providing clear, constructive feedback to support learner development
Maintaining accurate learner records and completing marking within agreed timeframes
Working closely with the Distance Learning Lead and wider team to ensure best practice
