Job Description
eDiscovery Project Manager - Permanent role - London - Hybrid
If you enjoy being at the centre of all things eDiscovery and want to help shape a brand new in-house service, this could be a great next step for you.
This role gives you the chance to join a specialist forensics team and become the go to person for managing digital evidence, supporting document reviews, processing data, and running productions. You will be trusted to take ownership of eDiscovery projects from initial collection right through to final production, making sure that best practice, defensibility, and quality are always maintained.
You will work closely with legal teams, internal colleagues, clients, and external vendors, so strong communication skills and confidence managing expectations will go a long way here. If you enjoy solving problems, keeping projects on track, and finding better ways to run workflows, you will fit in well.
What you will be doing
Leading the full lifecycle of eDiscovery projects, including scoping, budgeting, timelines, and client reporting. Overseeing the collection, preservation, and processing of electronic data while maintaining an accurate chain of custody. Managing eDiscovery platforms and ensuring data is processed, loaded, and maintained correctly for review and analysis. Designing and improving workflows for document reviews in line with best practice, firm policies, and legal standards. Acting as the key point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external vendors and coordinating tasks such as electronic disclosure, translations, and forensic work. Carrying out quality checks on processed data and review output and preparing reports and updates for clients and internal stakeholders. Providing training and support to internal teams and clients on eDiscovery tools, review platforms, and data sharing solutions and helping troubleshoot issues as they arise.
About you
Strong eDiscovery knowledge supported by either a relevant professional qualification or direct experience using recognised eDiscovery platforms and working across the EDRM. Experience delivering large and complex eDiscovery projects from start to finish, with the ability to keep on top of deadlines and competing demands. Highly organised with strong attention to detail and comfortable working under pressure and independently. A clear communicator with good problem solving skills and the confidence to work with a variety of stakeholders. A solid understanding of other digital evidence related technologies used by leading law firms, including computer forensics, eDiscovery review platforms, and electronic bundles.
