The Role
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic ECT Science Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4. This full-time role is ideal for a newly qualified teacher looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment with excellent mentoring and induction support. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and a love for Science.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality and engaging Science lessons • Inspire curiosity and a passion for scientific learning • Support student progress, achievement, and well-being • Work collaboratively with the wider Science department • Maintain an inclusive and positive classroom environment • Follow school policies and behaviour management procedures
What We’re Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS (ECTs welcome) • Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) • A passion for teaching and developing young minds • Excellent communication and organisational skills • A positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
