We are currently working with a tier-1 global consumer brand who are scaling its European D2C eCommerce operations.

We are looking for an eCommerce Trading Manager to drive commercial performance across multiple online sales channels, working across multiple markets.

This is a hybrid 12-month contract role, with high potential to move to permanent. Ideally, you can be available with 2 weeks' notice.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive commercial performance across all online sales channels.
• Act as the main point of contact for local subsidiaries, building strong working relationships.
• Lead weekly trading calls, analysing performance trends and identifying risks and opportunities.
• Conduct root cause analysis on underperformance and define clear, actionable plans with local teams.
• Prepare and present performance updates to Senior Leadership, outlining key drivers and actions.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with subsidiaries, aligning on strategy and growth plans.
• Leverage data and analytics to identify performance drivers across traffic, conversion, and sales.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support execution and ongoing optimisation.
• Contribute to SKU rationalisation and performance improvement programmes.

Your background:

• At least 5 years’ experience in e-commerce trading, online sales or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce performance metrics and digital sales channels.
• Experience in analysing complex datasets and translating insights into actions.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting to senior audiences.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially driven.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across different markets and teams.
