THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a hands-on EC&I role on a live energy plant
not a desk-based position.

Were recruiting for an EC&I Engineer to join a modern Energy from Waste facility, playing a key role in keeping the plant running safely, efficiently and compliantly.
The EC&I Engineer will be working at the heart of operations
supporting fault finding, improving plant performance and driving engineering standards across electrical, control and instrumentation systems.
THE EC&I Engineer ROLE
- Support plant performance through fault finding and root cause analysis
- Work across electrical, control and instrumentation systems
- Collaborate closely with operations and maintenance teams
- Improve plant reliability and asset performance
- Work with PLC / SCADA, instrumentation, VSDs, electrical distribution and CEMS
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
- Support management of change and continuous improvement
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR in this EC&I Engineer OPPORTUNITY
Essential:
- Experience in Energy from Waste, power or heavy industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical, control and instrumentation systems
- Proven fault finding capability
- Understanding of permit-to-work systems
- Engineering qualification (HNC / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
