EC&I Design Engineer Process Control £48-55k + Hybrid WorkingSamuel Frank is recruiting for an EC&I Design Engineer to join a well-established, growing engineering business operating within process-led industries. The role is predominantly office-based with very limited site work and would suit an EC&I Design Engineer who enjoys structured, collaborative working in a fast-paced environment.Key aspects of the EC&I Design Engineer role include - EC&I Design Engineer will be responsible for electrical, control and instrumentation design across a range of process-based projectsEC&I Design Engineer will produce key documentation including FDS, P&IDs and contribute to FAT/SAT activitiesVery limited site work, with most of the role focused on design and development in-houseStrong emphasis on collaborative working shared standards, consistent design approaches and continuous improvement across the teamEC&I Design Engineer will contribute to standardisation and modular design frameworks across the product rangeInvolvement in value engineering activities to improve efficiency, reduce cost and enhance system performanceFast-paced environment with multiple projects running simultaneouslyProcess control environments such as water treatment, chemical or food & beverage, pharmaceutical, nuclear or oil & gas environmentsRequirements for the EC&I Design Engineer role - Experience in EC&I design within an industrial or process environmentStrong understanding of hazardous area compliance ATEX experience is essentialKnowledge of UL directives would be advantageousAbility to produce and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs and technical documentationExperience contributing to functional design specifications and system designComfortable working in a collaborative, structured engineering teamSalary / Working Set Up / Training - Hybrid / flexible workingSalary £48,000-£52,000Strong focus on training and continuous developmentRegular team building events, team lunches and a social cultureSupportive, collaborative engineering team with clear progression opportunitiesThis is a great opportunity for an EC&I Design Engineer who wants to work on technically interesting process projects in a collaborative environment without the need for extensive travel.JBRP1_UKTJ
