Are you an experienced Echocardiographer looking to pick up extra shifts over the week?
Medicare are currently looking for Echocardiographers to work flexibly over weekdays between Monday and Friday for our client in the London Area completing Transthoracic Echocardiography. We offer Flexible Contracts that allow our candidates to choose their preferred working days, hours and locality which allows them to work around their schedule providing a minimum of 2 shifts a month. Multiple positions available!
Main duties of the job
- To perform Adult Transthoracic (TTE) Echocardiogram scans in an NHS hospital setting in order to assist with reducing backlogs.
- To work a minimum of 2 shifts a month
- To provide a high standard of work ensuring that the examinations of patients are carried out efficiently

Our Echocardiography Insourcing Service is proven to assist the NHS to eliminate their transthoracic echocardiography backlogs and improve their performance against DM01 targets. Our clinicians work on-site and quickly integrate with local staff to ensure that services are delivered effectively and that targets are met on time.

Job responsibilities
- To carry out diagnostic echocardiography scans and report clinical echo scans independently.
- To assist with the provision of stress, 3D, contrast and transoesophageal echocardiography services. To promote a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care within the Trust, ensuring a patient-centred approach to care.
- Flexible working pattern with a minimum of two shifts a month
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Must be BSE Accredited (or equivalent)
- Degree in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent qualification)
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years post qualification Echocardiography NHS experience
