EC&I Electrical Site Technician
to join our well-established engineering client based in
Wolverhampton
on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on technically challenging projects within a highly regulated engineering environment, supporting electrical, control and instrumentation (EC&I) installation, testing and commissioning activities across the UK. EC&I Electrical Site Technician , your duties will include (but not be limited to): • Electrical installation, maintenance and repair of EC&I systems and equipment • Control panel assembly and wiring, along with field wiring activities • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, GA drawings and wiring diagrams • Installation, glanding and termination of multicore, copper and fibre optic cables • Carrying out electrical testing including insulation resistance, earth bonding and point-to-point checks • Supporting system power-up, functionality testing and commissioning alongside engineers • Working closely with site managers, design engineers and commissioning teams • Ensuring all work is completed in line with site safety procedures and engineering standards Essential skills: To be successful as an
EC&I Electrical Site Technician , you will need: • Proven experience working with EC&I systems within an engineering or industrial environment • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, GA drawings and wiring diagrams • Experience with cable installation, glanding and termination (multicore, copper and fibre optic) • Knowledge of electrical testing procedures including insulation resistance and earth bonding • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team • Good communication and problem-solving skills Desirable experience: • Previous experience supporting commissioning activities on site • Experience working within regulated or heavy engineering environments • Familiarity with control panel assembly and instrumentation systems Training: • Ongoing technical development and training will be provided to support your career progression Contact: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an
