Early Years Teaching Assistant - L4


Milk Education are recruiting for a Early Years Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in the L4 area of Liverpool. This role is supporting in a Reception class, with occasional SEN 1:1 support required.

The hours are Monday - Friday from 8.30-3:30 pm, the role is full-time starting March 2026.


This is a temp to perm opportunity.

Nursery Practitioner Role & Responsibilities:


  • Observing, assessing, and recording the children’s progress and development using the EYFS framework
  • Supporting the children’s social and emotional development and promoting positive behaviour
  • Ocassisonally supporting SEN children 1:1.
  • Following the EYFS policies and procedures and ensuring the health and safety of the children and staff
  • Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
  • Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate


Nursery Assistant Non-negotiables:


● Must have recent/relevant experience working with EYFS children

●Must have experience supporting SEN children

●Must be proactive within this busy primary school

● Must have a passion for education

● Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
