The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role is pivotal in supporting the developmental needs of children in our nursery setting, ensuring they receive high-quality early childhood education. The Early Years Educator will work collaboratively with colleagues to create engaging learning experiences that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that stimulate children's curiosity and creativity. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children, encouraging their individual interests and needs. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development in line with early years frameworks. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure a cohesive approach to each child's learning journey. Manage classroom behaviour positively, promoting respect and cooperation among children. Collaborate with team members to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care and education provided. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe nursery environment that meets health and safety regulations. Experience Relevant Level 2 or 3 Qualification- hourly rate dependant on level of qualification Must have a valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A background in early childhood education or related qualifications is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others within the team. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
