Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap. The right candidate needs to be qualified with an NVQ Level 3 or above childcare qualification. You need to be able to demonstrate a full working knowledge of the EYFS and be able to demonstrate this knowledge at the interview stage. The day-to-day responsibilities will be to observe and document children's daily activities, create exciting age-appropriate activities for the children in your room, listen and engage in an appropriate manner with the children in your care. Promote positive relationships and interaction between all adults and children involved in the setting to ensure parents/carers are well informed of their children’s progress and are always welcome in the nursery. Also, work in partnership with parents providing a positive learning experience for all children regardless of race, culture or religious background. The key worker will have responsibility for some key children and needs to document the children's progress on a weekly basis & create termly written reports in Eylog. xehkeey You will be role-modeling your knowledge and best practice to colleagues and delivering the best learning opportunities to the children.
