What We're Looking For: A positive, enthusiastic individual with a great sense of humour Someone passionate about inspiring young children through play and learning High expectations for all learners with a nurturing, caring approach Well-organised, proactive, and eager to learn and grow Someone who can work well with the team Key Responsibilities: Support teaching and learning activities planned by the Early Years Leader Work with groups or individual pupils, tailoring activities to meet their needs Observe, assess, and report on children's progress Provide social, emotional, and academic support to pupils, including those with additional needs or English as an additional language Assist in preparing and maintaining resources and displays Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals Supervise pupils during class, break, lunchtime, and on trips when required Essential Skills & Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or above in an approved Early Years/EYFS qualification Solid understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development Basic First Aid knowledge (Paediatric First Aid preferred) Confident use of ICT to support learning Strong communication and problem-solving skills Team player with a flexible and proactive attitude This role offers a temporary start with the view to transition to a permanent contract in September.
