This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming Early Years team in Harrow, working full-time from February Half Term until July, with the potential for extension.
About the School
This inclusive, community-focused primary school is known for its nurturing ethos and commitment to giving children the very best start to their education. The Early Years Foundation Stage is well-resourced, thoughtfully organised, and led by an experienced, collaborative team who value creativity, curiosity, and child-led learning. The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support learning in Nursery or Reception (confirmed at interview), helping to create an engaging, safe, and stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors. Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting children across all EYFS areas of learning
• Leading small group activities and supporting whole-class learning
• Observing, assessing, and contributing to next steps
• Building warm, trusting relationships with children and parents
• Working closely with teachers, TAs, and the wider school team
About You
You will:
• Hold a Level 3 childcare qualification (or above)
• Have recent EYFS experience in a school or nursery setting
• Be confident with the EYFS framework and learning through play
• Bring a caring, enthusiastic, and professional approach
This role is ideal for UK practitioners seeking a fulfilling, term-time opportunity in a positive and inspiring school. If you’re ready to make a real difference in children’s early learning journey, we’d love to hear from you.
