Early Years Practitioner / Early Years Educator - Islington, North London
Start Date: January 2026
Pay: £110-£120 per day (PAYE)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Shift Patterns: 8:30am-4:30pm | 9:00am-5:00pm | 10:00am-6:00pm

A friendly, well-established nursery in Islington, North London is seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner / Early Years Educator to join their supportive and passionate team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced EYFS professional who is committed to delivering high-quality early years education through play-based and child-led learning.

The successful Early Years Practitioner will support children aged 6 months to 4 years, creating a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive. The nursery values creativity, strong key-person relationships, and a warm, caring approach to early childhood development.

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a CACHE Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)

Have proven experience working within a nursery or EYFS setting

Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS framework

Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities

Support children's personal, social, and emotional development

Confidently complete observations, assessments, and documentation

Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team

Hold Paediatric First Aid (desirable, not essential)
