Are you passionate about supporting young children to learn, explore and grow?
This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your career in early years education with Little Feet Nursery, a warm, welcoming and forward-thinking nursery based in the heart of Dronfield. At Little Feet, children are encouraged to develop their creativity, independence and curiosity through play, exploration and high-quality learning experiences.
Working alongside a team of experienced and highly qualified practitioners, you will gain hands-on experience while completing your Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship.
What Youll Be DoingAs an apprentice at Little Feet Nursery, you will:
- Support childrens learning and development through play-based and planned activities.
- Help create a caring, stimulating and inclusive environment where children feel safe and valued.
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, outdoor play and personal care (including nappy changing).
- Support children to develop confidence, independence and curiosity.
- Contribute to observations and planning to support each childs individual development.
- Work as part of a passionate team dedicated to providing high-quality early years education.
- A Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
- Valuable hands-on experience in a well-established nursery setting.
- Ongoing support from experienced practitioners and your dedicated tutor.
- Online training delivered by Best Practice Network (no college attendance required).
- Excellent progression opportunities within the childcare and education sector.
- GCSE Grade 4 / C or above in English and Maths essential.
- Level 2 Early Years qualification desirable.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- A positive, caring and enthusiastic attitude.
- Commitment to completing the full apprenticeship programme.
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Duration: Approximately 18 months
- Salary: £8.50 per hour
