TeacherActive is proud to be working with a warm and engaging nursery setting in Rotherham. The nursery provides a stimulating and supportive environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn and develop through play.

The nursery is looking to take on a proactive Early Years Assistant on a short-term basis. The successful Early Years Assistant will be expected to support across the setting, working with children in early years, helping to deliver engaging activities and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

The successful Early Years Assistant will have:

• A minimum of 6 months formal nursery experience
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (desirable)
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework
• A positive and engaging approach to working with children
• The ability to work as part of a team
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to get stuck in
