Your Role
• Teach Physics and Chemistry at GCSE (KS4) and general Science at KS3
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire curiosity and progress
• Support students of all abilities to achieve strong academic outcomes
• Use creative teaching strategies to promote critical thinking and a love for science
• Assess and track progress, providing targeted feedback and support
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities such as STEM clubs and trips
• Play an active role in the wider school community and pastoral support
What Were Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A degree in Science (Physics preferred or strong Physics/Chemistry knowledge)
• A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young people
• Strong subject knowledge and willingness to develop further
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A collaborative and proactive approach
ECTs with strong training experience in GCSE teaching are highly encouraged to apply.
