Prospero Teaching are looking for ECT (Newly qualified) Primary Teachers to work in local schools in Ipswich and the surrounding areas starting from September 2026 or sooner.

We work with a range of Primary Schools; from small village schools to large three-form entry schools. We cover classes from Reception through to Year 6. We are looking for teachers who have strong behaviour management skills and are passionate about teaching.

Some contracts may be extended from day-to-day bookings to longer-term cover.

CONTRACT DETAILS

Location - Various across Ipswich and surrounding areas Position - ECT Primary Teacher Type of work - Supply teaching or long-term Start date - ASAP Duration / Likely Duration - Day-to-day bookings Contract type - Temporary Full time/part-time - Both Minimum rate of pay - Minimum £125 per day for qualified teachers Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00pm (full day)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last yearTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child-related referencesOTHER
