Are you a creative individual with a passion for Design & Technology? Whether you are a qualified teacher (QTS) or a skilled professional/instructor looking to share your expertise in a classroom setting, an "Outstanding" learning community wants to hear from you.

We are seeking a dedicated DT Teacher or Instructor to join our team for Mondays only during the upcoming Summer Term. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a premier secondary environment without the requirement of QTS.

The Role

Working every Monday, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, hands-on DT lessons to secondary students.

• Practical Learning: Guide students through projects involving resistant materials, graphics, or product design.
• Inspiration: Help pupils develop problem-solving skills and a growth behaviour.
• Safety First: Maintain a safe and inspiring workshop environment, ensuring all equipment is handled with care.
• Support: Work alongside a supportive and friendly department that prioritises innovation and creative freedom.

What We're Looking For

• Subject Expertise: A strong background in Design & Technology (Product Design, Woodwork, Metalwork, or Engineering).
• Experience: Previous experience teaching or instructing secondary-aged students is preferred, but we welcome applications from industry professionals with a natural ability to coach and lead.
• Mindset: Someone who shares values of kindness, curiosity, and ambition.
• Compliance: You must have (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check and have the right to work in the UK.
