The role will include teaching: Resistant Materials up to GCSE Timber, plastics, textiles, electronics, paper and board, and metal Manufacturing processes and technical drawing Sustainability, social and environmental impact Mechanical systems and product design Research, iterative design, and evaluating CAD/CAM, modelling, prototyping, and practical workshop skills The appointed DT Teacher will join a department with strong uptake at GCSE, where students are enthusiastic about practical learning and enjoy applying creativity alongside technical knowledge.
