Broadacres Housing Association is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Kirkwood Hall, a vibrant Extra Care housing scheme located in the heart of our community.
As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. Your duties will include cleaning and tidying communal areas, resident apartments, and office spaces, as well as assisting with laundry and other domestic tasks as required. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and approachable demeanor, strong attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintaining communal areas, resident apartments, and office spaces to a high standard
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all surfaces
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste in a hygienic manner
- Assisting with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens
- Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed
