Document Specialist (6 months FTC)

Leading UK law firm is seeking a Document Specialist on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract to review and update precedent documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with current best practices and the firm’s house style.

• Salary to £49,000 (FTE)
• 6-month fixed-term contract
• Full-time / part-time working hours available
• Hybrid working – 3 days in the office / 2 days remote
• Holborn / Chancery Lane

Document Specialist (6 months FTC) Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for updating any precedent documents for the Knowledge Management department
• Updates include converting to current Word templates and house style, editing, amending, and resolving issues with any corrupt documents to ensure full accuracy and functionality
• An expert in the Farrer house styles and works closely with Knowledge and IT on the knowledge precedents project

Document Specialist (6 months FTC) Skills & Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role, such as a Document Assistant/Specialist
• Experience of working with complex documents on various IT packages
• You will need to have a very good eye for detail, be a confident trouble-shooter as well as have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
