Overview Of The RoleWe are looking for a Divisional Risk Assurance Manager to join our busy and dynamic team in our Leeds office.As a Divisional Risk Assurance Manager within Flutter International, you will be part of the Compliance, Legal and Risk Function, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Risk Assurance. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver independent assurance over the adequacy and effectiveness of the International Division’s risk management framework, assessing its design, implementation, and operational performance to ensure it meets both business needs and regulatory requirements in the gaming and gambling industry.This role follows a hybrid working model, allowing you to combine working from home with time in our modern offices. Your working pattern will be agreed with your manager to find a balance that works for both, while ensuring valuable face to face time is maintained to keep us aligned with our mission.Operating across multiple brands and jurisdictions, you will review, test, and report on risk controls, provide data driven analysis, ensure alignment with governance and regulatory requirements, and recommend improvements.Our Risk Assurance approach is designed to be agile and adaptable, enabling us to respond effectively to the continuously evolving nature of the business. We tailor scopes, methodologies, and priorities to emerging risks, regulatory changes, and strategic developments, ensuring that assurance activity remains relevant, targeted, and impactful in supporting business objectives.What You’ll DoProvide independent assurance over the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management processes across the business.Assess, evaluate, and review the design, implementation, and operation of risk controls, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.Support compliance with regulatory requirements (including Gambling regulation and licensing, AML, ABC, and other applicable frameworks).Conduct Risk Assurance Reviews across functional areas, brands, and jurisdictions within Flutter International.Work with operational, compliance, legal, and finance teams to ensure risk controls are appropriate, effective and aligned with governance policies.Prepare clear Reports and Recommendations for senior stakeholders outlining key risks, control weaknesses, and improvement actions.Monitor implementation of agreed actions, ensuring completion within deadlines and escalating where necessary.Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Risk Assurance Framework and methodology.Keep abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes.What You’ll BringProven experience in risk, compliance, or related governance roles preferably within gaming, gambling, or financial services.Strong knowledge of Risk management frameworks, governance structures, and regulatory requirements (e.g. AML, GDPR, Gambling regulations).Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify risk control weaknesses and propose pragmatic solutions.Ability to work effectively across multiple brands and international jurisdictions.Exceptional communication skills capable of producing clear, concise reports for executive audiences.High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.Experience in data analysis and process mapping is advantageous.BenefitsDiscretionary annual performance bonus30 days paid leavePrivate healthcarePersonal life assurance and income protectionOption to join our company pension schemeExternal learning support up to £2000 or equivalent, 4 learning Power Hours each month, access to Udemy and Mindtools, in house leadership program and other training opportunitiesCash gift of £1000 for a new addition while working for us26 weeks primary carer leave at 100% pay and 4 weeks secondary carer leave pay at 100% payAccess to an on site gymSocial events including our sensational summer and Christmas partiesOnline discount scheme including discounted shopping and cinema vouchersEqual OpportunitiesAt Flutter International we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where our people can be their authentic selves and thrive.
