Divisional Health and Safety Advisor
Location: North West (Manchester/Liverpool) – Hybrid Role
Salary: upwards of £50,000 depending on experience + Company Car or Car Allowance + Private Healthcare

We’re seeking a supportive and driven Health and Safety Advisor to join our team, providing expert guidance across our Northern and Facilities Management contracts. What you’ll be doing:
- Champion a “Safety First and Foremost” culture across all operations, ensuring visibility and integration in all activities.
- Support and advise Divisional Directors, Managers, and Supervisors on H&S responsibilities with a coaching-led approach.
- Conduct regular site visits to review safe working practices and ensure compliance with Health and Safety Management Systems.
- Act as the regional H&S expert—your first point of contact for significant issues.
- Build strong relationships across teams to promote a positive, proactive safety culture.
- Attend operational and client safety meetings, briefings, and reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety standards, contributing to the wider SHE strategy.
- Work collaboratively within a team supported by a Health and Safety Manager who values innovation and development.
What we’re looking for:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum); NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in FM, M&E Maintenance, or Utilities sectors.
- Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (e.g., OHSAS 45001).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to influence, support, and mentor site teams confidently.
- Self-motivated, based in Manchester or Liverpool, enjoying autonomy and variety.
