Disrepair Supervisor / Case Handler – South West Council £270 p/d PAYE - £350 p/d Umbrella / Deemed LTD (Inside IR35) 37 hours per week Ongoing contract

We are recruiting for an experienced Disrepair Supervisor / Case Handler to join a well-established Housing & Landlord Services team for a South West-based Local Authority. The role will focus on managing the legal caseload surrounding disrepair claims made against the Council's housing stock, while supervising the administrative and surveyor teams to ensure efficient, value-for-money outcomes. Working closely with the Council’s legal team, this postholder will be responsible for managing the process from the receipt of Particulars of Claim through to resolution – including attending court as a representative on an ad-hoc basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of disrepair legislation, excellent report writing skills, and the confidence to act as an expert witness.
