Dispute Resolution Associate Solicitor (2-6 PQE) - London
Join a dynamic, mid-sized London law firm with a thriving Dispute Resolution practice, seeking a talented Associate Solicitor (2-6 PQE) to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to handle high-value commercial disputes, with a focus on technology-related claims, in a collaborative, client-centric environment that values initiative and quality.
What You'll Do


  • Manage a diverse caseload of commercial disputes, including claims involving cryptocurrency recovery, data, intellectual property, hacking (breach of privacy), and fraud.

  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence.

  • Maintain regular client communication, providing updates on case progress and strategic advice on resolution options.

  • Develop and implement dispute resolution strategies through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.

  • Collaborate with directors and senior associates to deliver exceptional client service.

  • Contribute to business development, including networking events, to grow the firm's dispute resolution practice.

  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly in technology and cryptoasset sectors.

  • Assess case merits and determine optimal resolution strategies.


What We're Looking For


  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2-6 years PQE in dispute resolution.

  • Experience in cryptocurrency and fraud claims is highly desirable.

  • Strong technical skills, capable of managing a caseload with minimal supervision.

  • Client-focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Interest in business development and building long-term client relationships.

  • Ability to handle challenging clients and tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.

  • Collaborative, calm under pressure, and highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Flexible and adept at managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

Details


  • Location: Central London (hybrid working, 3 days in office, 2 days remote).

  • Salary: £65,000-£120,000 (depending on experience).
