Your Impact
As Director of Sales Engineering, EMEA, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent, efficient, and scalable operation of the EMEA Sales Engineering organisation. You will provide steady, experienced leadership to an established regional team, with a focus on execution quality, operational discipline, and sustained performance across diverse markets. You will work closely with senior Sales, Product, and Operations leaders to optimise how Sales Engineering supports the business, ensuring clear alignment, predictable outcomes, and effective use of resources. Your leadership will help maintain HiBob’s position as a trusted, reliable partner for mid-market organisations across EMEA.
Job Requirements
Your Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or related customer-facing technical roles, including significant experience leading managers and senior leaders.
Proven experience operating and sustaining Sales Engineering organisations at scale across EMEA.
Strong operational mindset, with experience improving consistency, efficiency, and execution quality in complex environments.
Demonstrated ability to manage established teams through periods of change while maintaining stability and performance.
Pragmatic, people‑centred leadership style that balances empathy with clarity, accountability and high standards.
Comfortable partnering at executive level, influencing outcomes through insight, credibility and calm decision‑making.
Job Responsibilities
In This Role, You Will:
Lead and Support Senior Leaders
Lead, coach, and support Sales Engineering managers and senior individual contributors, enabling them to operate effectively at scale.
Provide clarity, consistency, and sound judgement in leadership, performance management, and decision‑making.
Drive Regional Effectiveness and Consistency
Own the EMEA Sales Engineering operating model, ensuring consistent standards, processes, and ways of working across the region.
Partner with EMEA Sales leadership to ensure predictable, efficient execution in support of commercial priorities.
Embed a Culture of Operational Excellence
Promote disciplined execution, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Ensure teams are focused on delivering high‑quality outcomes efficiently, with appropriate prioritisation and balance.
Optimise Talent and Capacity
Oversee workforce planning, resourcing, and succession to ensure the organisation is appropriately staffed and structured.
Maintain high standards for performance, development and role clarity, supporting long‑term retention and effectiveness.
Ensure Clear and Consistent Value Communication
Maintain a high bar for how HiBob’s value is articulated across the region, ensuring clarity, consistency, and relevance for customers.
Act as a senior escalation point for complex or strategic opportunities, providing guidance and risk mitigation as needed.
Strengthen Cross‑Functional Alignment
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Marketing to ensure Sales Engineering input is structured, prioritised, and actionable.
Represent EMEA Sales Engineering in global forums, ensuring regional needs are clearly communicated and pragmatically addressed.
Drive Enablement and Continuous Improvement
Ensure enablement efforts are targeted, practical, and aligned to real operational needs.
Use data, feedback, and performance insights to identify inefficiencies and drive incremental improvements over time.
