Director Revenue Intelligence Asset Management CRM
2 Days Old
My client is undertaking a strategic, multi-year transformation to develop an AI-enabled, frontier operating model for the global asset management industry. At the heart of this ambition is building a world‑class revenue intelligence capability that helps them identify the right client, at the right time, with the right proposition.
You, the Director, Revenue Intelligence, will be a pivotal hire within the Product, Technology & Data organisation. This role helps them use data to drive commercial growth, shifting from reactive, relationship‑led selling to predictive, intelligence‑powered revenue generation.
This is fundamentally a revenue enablement role. You will take information from their internal systems and combine it with external market data feeds and market signals to generate targeted commercial intelligence. For existing clients, this intelligence identifies white space and cross‑sell opportunities. For new prospects, it surfaces high‑potential targets and optimal engagement moments.
This IC role is a critical hire with huge potential impact. Your deep understanding of funds, revenue generation, data‑driven analysis, and CRM is essential, especially proven experience where your work directly boosted sales performance. You'll define the vision, strategy, and requirements (the how), so IT can build the solutions.
In this role, you will:
Build and own a revenue intelligence capability, turning fragmented data into actionable commercial insights.
Transform Salesforce CRM from an under‑utilised tool into the commercial intelligence engine that powers their growth.
Integrate internal and external data sources to create a complete view of clients, prospects and market opportunities.
Develop predictive models and scoring frameworks that prioritise commercial effort and improve conversion rates.
Enable Business Development, Marketing and Operations teams with intelligence‑driven decision‑making tools and workflows.
Essential experience required to be considered:
Min 3 years in commercial intelligence, revenue operations, sales operations, go‑to‑market strategy or business development operations, specifically within the Asset Management / Investment industry space.
Proven track record building or scaling commercial intelligence capabilities — including prospect identification, market segmentation, pipeline analytics and data‑driven campaign execution.
Deep understanding of what 'good' looks like in CRM‑driven commercial operations — ability to define strategy, processes and outcomes.
2. Asset Management / Funds / Private Markets
Min 10+ yrs within the asset management, investment management or funds industry — with a solid understanding of how institutional investors, fund managers or asset allocators make buying decisions.
Clearly understands how institutional investors, fund managers, or asset allocators buy services.
Can speak credibly with senior commercial stakeholders from day one. This is a Director's role.
Has driven CRM adoption and data quality improvements across commercial teams.
Can define CRM strategy, processes and requirements.
Strong experience with CRM systems — Salesforce preferred.
4. Data-Driven & Analytical
Comfortable using data, analytics, dashboards and market intelligence platforms to drive decisions.
5. You :)
Ambitious, execution‑focused, comfortable building capabilities from scratch.
Someone who sees ambiguity as a launchpad, not a blocker.
Self‑starter, thrives in scaling, high‑growth environments.
6. Stakeholder Management & Influencing
- able to establish credibility with commercial, product, operations and executive teams.
7. Revenue‑Focused, Not Just "Insights"
8. Integration & Data Ecosystem Thinking
Experience in revenue operations, sales operations or commercial analytics roles within B2B, SaaS or financial services environments.
Exposure to market intelligence platforms and external data integration (Preqin, eVestment, Pitchbook, Dakota, LinkedIn).
Familiarity with financial crime, AML/KYC compliance or regulated operating environments.
Working within Microsoft‑centric ecosystems (Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Azure).
Background in AI‑powered commercial tools, predictive analytics or data enrichment platforms.
Scaling or high‑growth organisation — comfortable building capabilities from the ground up.
